living it up in the ranch

What is up!! How the heck is everyone!!!

Well, I am loving life, we worked our butts off this week and taught a whole bunch of lessons and contacted until I thought I wasn't going to have a voice. Oh, this week rocked. We found a lot of new cool people. One lady named Isabel (I met her last week when I knocked on the door to use the bathroom, this lady was in the house.) We visited her and her 3 kids this week. Her oldest doesn't believe in God. We had an awesome lesson with them. I'm excited to visit them again this week. She owns a soccer field and they have tournaments 3 days a week. Sik, I want to play, but I can play after my mission. There is work to be done.

Do you guys remember Angela? I baptized her like 3 weeks ago. Well I had a very special spiritual moment yesterday in church. I was sitting in sacrament just loving all of the testimonies when I saw little Angela stand and start walking to the front. She got to the pulpit and gave her testimony. This girl is nine years old and has been a member for only weeks and went up all by herself. Her testimony was very simple, but it was a testimony from the heart. As she was speaking, I was just touched by the spirit, I was crying. I couldn't help it. I know that this gospel is real and it is simple. Sometimes we forget that, but really it's simple and we can always be reminded that it is simple by listening to the little children pray or give their testimonies. I love the little children here and back at home. They always bring a smile to my face. I always joke with them and laugh and we just have a good time.

Pops and Brady guess what? I have this buddy and he works in a leather place. He is cool but doesn't want anything to do with the church, but he made me a DOPE!! belt and scripture case!! I was talking to him and he told me that they hunt these little deer here. He showed me some and they are pretty saweet. What is even more exciting is that they hunt black panthers in the hills above Apatzingan. Yah sAweeet huh. I’m so stoked, I have a contact now after the mission.  I can come here and get me a big ole black cat.

Tell dad that he needs to fill me in on the hunt down on Johnsons. I want to know. I miss it bad. The morning of September one I knew it was the opening of the hunt so when I woke up, I started doing elk bugles and cow chirps. I think my comp thinks I'm some crazy mountain man. But hey, I'm just being me.  Ha ha.

We are going to have some baptisms this week. 1 for sure with Mayco and 2 others if we can get the couple married. Homero y Casandra. Keep them in your prayers. This week is going to be awesome.

Well I love all of you so much. Always know that I'm doing the work of the Lord and I am loving it. It tries the heck out of me at times, but it's good for me and I'm learning a ton.

love you

Until next time, this is Elder miller and I'm signing out.

Oh mom, if my blanket isn't to big and can fold up into my suit case you can send it. That would make me really happy!!!!
