Elder Miller

A view I have in my area up on top of the hill.  Hermano Espiritu,
Elder Miller Smith, and Hermano Carrillo.  These two guys
will be my life long friends.
they are amazing examples to me and I really look up to them.

Family and friends it is hot in Guadalajara! I can tell you that. ha ha

Guadalajara Temple
I got the opportunity to go to the temple on saturday. A family that my comp converted was going to be sealed in the temple. so we got to go. I love the temple. My experience I had there has changed me and my testimony of Eternal Families has grown greatly. I had never been to a live sealing before this was my first. Throughout the whole sealing I couldn’t help but to feel an overwhelming joy and happiness. The Spirit testified to me so strongly that families can be together forever and for all eternity. I thought of you guys and also my future family. What a blessing it is to have a family like your guys. I love you guys so much and I am so happy that I will be able to be with you guys for eternity. I know that one day in my future I will take the young lady that God wants me to marry in the House of the Lord. I want my family to be eternal.

Tell Cam and Logan and all my buddies to go to the temple and see a live sealing. It is what the mission is all about, families.

Dad I wrote Logan, his letter should be coming soon to his house.   If you could please give it to her.

One thing for my buddies. Tell them to buy electric razors for their missions. It saves so much time and it is fast and easy.

Yes, isn't this a sik razor!  I thought it was pretty dang sweet!!! I saw it and I was like, Yeah I totally
have to get a pic with it.  ha ha  Yes family, I still love horsepower!
Tell Cam that I love him. Tell him this too. the work of the Lord is the same wherever you go. There are specific people that have been prepared just for you camshaft. The lord prepared them even before you came to this earth. they need you bro. Cam make your mission your Holy Land. Your mission is where you will make your ultimate sacrifice. Serve them with all your heart, might, mind and strength. If you love the people it won’t matter where you serve. Love the People. For two years there will be no Cam. When you lose yourself in the work and you love the people that’s when you know you are doing what the Lord wants you to do. I love ya bro.

I love all of you guys so much I know it's short but yeah, I want to go to work and I need to go to work. I have less than two years left.

Next week will be longer, well maybe not. Next week we have changes. Hopefully I will have a change.

Love you all

Letter from Elder Miller delivered by Elder Toone

The following letter is from Elder Derek Toone.  Elder Toone was a zone leader in Elder Miller's first area.  Elder Miller sent a handwritten letter home with him to give to our family.  Elder Toone was a great blessing to Elder Miller and an answer to many prayers.  Elder Toone included a note to our family along with the handwritten letter from Jake.

Dear Miller Family,

Hello my name is Elder Derek Toone, I was in your sons zone.  I just wanted to send a quick note to say what a respectable and honorable missionary you have, and to also send you a letter he gave me before I left the mission.  Elder Miller is such a hard working, go getter, obedient missionary.  He was a team player and just an outstanding example to me.  Thank you for letting us have him.  He truly is a tiger missionary, and you should be the proudest parents on earth because he is doing excellent, and touching many lives in the mission!  Thank you once again for your son, he became one of my best friends in the mission.

Con amor,
Derek Toone

Miller Family,                                                                                                31 Mayo, 2010 Lunes

Mexico, Mexico, Mexico.  It is definately is a very unique and interesting place.  Only in Mexico you can find 5 people on a motorcycle riding down the road.  I can't think of any more "only in Mexico's" right now.  I thought up a whole bunch of good ones, but at the moment it seems that my mind has gone blank.  Oh well, I guess the heat can do that to a person. ha ha  I don't know.  I'm really excited for the rainy season, then it won't be so hot.  The locals have been telling me is that when it rains, it rains.  All the streets are just full of water, and it is an everyday happening.  I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of interesting experiences with the rainy season.   Who goes out when the American Navy does not?  The Missionaries!!  Who goes out when the Air Force does not?  The MIssionaries!!! ha ha The Lord has a great work for us to do.  I am right smack in the middle of it.  This work brings me great happiness.  It is eternal happiness.  It is not temporal.  I am very grateful for my many blessings.  The opportunity I have to be down here in Mexico with my fellow brethren.  I am becoming one of them.  I am serving them.  I am laughing with them.  I am crying with them.  I am loving them as I become more and more engrossed into this culture.  My big goal is to return to the states and relearn my english. ha ha  The Lord called me to speak spanish and thats what I am going to speak.  No matter how hard it is, I am going to be able to speak and understand this language with the help of the Lord.  I know with the Lord it will come even faster.  I know this, "Love speaks louder than any language".

Here in Buenos Aires I love it!  I love the area, the people and especially my ward.  Hermano Espiritu and Hermano Carrillo will be my life long friends, and many others but these two in particular.  I have learned so much from these two men.  All sorts of things, things of life, culture, spanish, the gospel and a lot about how I should be after my mission.  They are great examples.  They always are trying to further the work of the Lord by serving.  Even without the missionaries they are finding less actives to visit.  They always have great attitudes and a great desire to share their testimonies of the this gospel.  They are amazing.  I love going on splits with them every sunday afternoon.

Family something that I have learned and I am still learning about since I have arrived in Mexico is "feeling".  This is one thing that my comp doesn't have.  He never shows emotion.  Yeah he smiles and laughs, when we talk.  But in lessons, he totally changes and is stern and direct.  When I need a shoulder to lean on, I don't go to him.  He can't even understand what I'm going through.  He expects me to be perfect.  These first few months have been really difficult and lonely. But I have found the shoulder I can lean on or cry into.  It is my brother Jesus Christ.  He gives me great comfort.  A lot of times I just want a big hug from Mom or anyone of you.  Physically I can't but I know you are with me spiritually and so is Christ.  I'm not the only one who needs comfort, many people are searching for this same comfort.  I want to bring it to them.  I can't do that if I am a robot.  If I need to laugh with the people, I will.  If I need to be bold and direct, I will.  If the spirit touches me in such a way that I cry bearing my testimony or if I need to cry with the person, I will.  If these people need something, I will do all I can to help.  I have felt the love the Savior has for me.  I know that I am a child of God.  But many don't know this, many don't know what it feels like to feel the love of the Savior.  Through me as one of the Lords instruments, if 1 person can feel the love that the Savior has for him or her, I will be filled with eternal joy.  I have seen it in many lives already and I hope it will be 1,000's of more people while I am here on this earth.  I want others to have the happiness that I have.  That is my purpose, this is our purpose  "Bring others unto Christ through the restored gospel.  Through
*Faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement.
*Repentance
*Baptism
*Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost.
*Persevering to the end.
This is how these people will receive true happiness.

Know that I love you with all my heart family.  You all mean everything to me.  I have a very strong testimony of Eternal Families.  I am so grateful that we are an eternal family.

Elder Miller Smith

Family wats up

ok ok first of all of you are telling me that cam got his call and how excited he is and how excited you guys are but you never said where he is going. I’ve been waiting for like two months. It’s all good I can find out next week. Please let me know. Tell that kid that I love him and that
I’m way stoked for him. He is my brother and a great example to me. All my buddies are great examples to me. Me and all my buddies going on missions reminds me of the sons of Mosiah when they all went there separate ways to teach the word to the Lamanites.
They all had great success and when they all met back up together how great there joy was. That will be me and all my buddies in 2 years. We are the Lord’s chosen.

I don’t have much time today was sort of a crazy day. We had to meet with the president and stuff so yeah.

I got a huge favor for jacee, mom, kel and grandma. It gets cold here at night. I know how all of you love to make quilts especially for the missionaries. Can you make me one? That would be so nice of you guys. But don’t make me the kind with batting because I still need it to fit in my suit case. It would be really sik off the chain if it was like camo or something rugged. But yeah you guys would be the best totally.

Jacee it’s ok to cry. Yes I do cry and its all right. Just let it all out. Read Alma 38. I was praying one night and I received revelation that I needed to read this chapter. I read it the next morning and it was just what I needed. Can’t remember exactly but I think verse 5 was the one I really liked it talks about the lord will lift you up in all of your trials and afflictions.

snow that’s sweet.

I will write more next week.

love you family more than all the missionaries in the world.

Elder Miller Smith

The Conference was amazing. Elder Bednar was always one of my favorites but now he is my favorite. I sat on the second row at this conference. Yeah was like right next to him. Also Elder Gonzalez was there he is president of the 70 and Bishop Mcmullin of the presiding bishopric. Yeah how lucky were we to have this powerhouse come and speak to us. it was amazing. I will just share a few things that I really liked about the conference. First: the Holy Ghost is the true teacher. When we have teachers they are just instruments as we are being instructed we need to listen with the ears of our minds to receive revelation from the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost will bring unto us answers and teachings but we have to be willing to take those into our hearts. Second we are agents we need to act. We need to help others act. Don’t treat others as objects. Teach them to act and not to be acted upon. Ask questions that allow them to think but don’t force the question on them ask for permission. Third: the plan of Salvation is a Plan of happiness and we need to show that happiness in our lives. Let your light shine when we do so it allows others unconsciously to do the same to let there light shine. These are just a few things that I really enjoyed.
After the conference and later that night we were teaching one of our investigators. Her name is Patricia.

The family of Patricia

She really opened up to us this night. She was really confused. She really wanted to know what the correct path was for her and for her children. She cares a lot for her children. She is catholic/jehovah witness so she always has a lot of questions and she loves the Bible. But she really wants to know the right path. She got a little emotional, I know that she is searching. I started to tell her my story since I had been here in my mission and how different it was than my life before. Right from the start, I was touched by the spirit and I was crying. As I bore this testimony to her, I told her how I felt very alone a lot of times since I’d been here.  My family is in a completely different country. I can’t understand the language and my words are little. I told her how I wondered if I was even on the correct path and if what I was doing what was right. I told her that all I wanted was comfort. But from where? From our Father in heaven. His arm is always extended but we as his children have to reach out to him. Go unto him and he will let you know. Ask in faith and he will give you your answer. Our father gives us weakness´ and challenges to make us humble.  As we are humble the Lord can lift us up. Our Father in Heaven loves us and wants the best for us. Ask and ye shall receive, knock and it shall be opened.
This was a wonderful experience for me and I am so grateful that I can be an instrument in the Lord’s hands. It is through the Lord that we can become strong. I know that my father in Heaven loves me.

I also know that ¨Love speaks louder than words¨

I love you my family with all my heart. I miss you guys but families need me. Heavenly Father has had certain children planned for me to teach even before I came to this earth.

Fam

It was great to hear your voices last night. That really gave me a big boost.  I love all of you so much. I am so grateful for the family that I have. I’m so blessed to be raised in such a strong family who loves the Lord and this gospel. All of you have great faith and you are all wonderful examples to me. Yeah, I miss you guys a ton and I miss Utah but I am needed here. There are things here that the Lord has prepared for me. I don’t know what they all are but they are here and I need to follow path that the Lord has set for me. It says in my patriartical blessing that the people that I will teach will love me for all the days of my life for what I have done to bless them and there families. I have already started to see this being fulfilled.

Jacee one favor please. A lot of missionaries are going to be adding me on facebook. Could you maybe get on my fb like once a month so my account stays active because this is how I will contact a lot of these missionaries out here. thanks. My address is snowchaser_13@yahoo.com and my pass word is snow.

One more thing I know that you were thinking about going back to school. Jacee I really think you should pray about that. You have an amazing job for a girl your age and it is a job that will put your future husband through college and to provide for you and him while he is in college. Think about that and pray.

I gotta go. love you guys so so much

Elder Miller

forgot to tell you guys that I haven't gained any weight and I still have my 6 pack.  I work out every morning.  Now I am able to do 100 pushups with out stopping in 2 months I will be able to do 120 yup yup

Elder Miller Smith

Hello family,

For the call this Sunday this is how things are gonna go down. I’m going to be at a members house using their phone, you guys are going to call their house. I will give you the number. You call me so you guy can pay for the call and not the members. You are going to call at 7:30 my time here in Guadalajara which I think would be like 6:30 your time. I will get to talk for like 45 or 50mins.
This is the number  (33) 2367 9362 and you have to do the country code in front of that number I think it is 001
So the whole number will be 001 33 2367 9362.  But check on the country code because I’m not totally sure what it is. cool cool I’m excited to talk to you guys. Please invite dani to come up.

So, this week was awesome, we baptized Mercedes and her two kids Jose and Abril. It was so sweet there was so much happiness and joy. I was filled with joy. I also bore my testimony in sacrament meeting about the plan of salvation and my experience with grandpa passing away. The words were just coming out of my mouth. I was just filled with the spirit as I spoke. I could feel it. I even cried. I felt really good after I was done. Before I bore my testimony, I was sitting in the crowd and it hit me. Elder Miller go bear your testimony. So I did.

This is what I have been eating lately. Ceviche with octupus and shrimp, carne asada, fruit bowls with creme, so much more man you can’t beat it down here.

Pops sounds like you are just tearing it up on your horse way to go man.

I have so much I want to tell you guys but I don’t have time. I need to go, we have a bunch appointments we have to go to.

love ya can’t wait to talk to you on Sunday

Elder miller

one more thing

on google you guys were in the right area.  just zoom out a bit and go down to the left, there is a huge road called 8 de julio.  go to the left of that like one block and I live on the street called 18 de agusto and the church is on the same road too.

Elder Miller

Hello
We only had two baptisms this week. Nadia and Erica but these baptisms were wonderful. The spirit was very strong and both of these girls were so happy. I was too. Erica is from the family Aparicio. The parents are baptized when I got here they were inactive. Now they are active and go to church every week. The dad is my favorite. After the baptism he bore his testimony. He said how he had felt his family change in the last couple of weeks and how they will continue to change for the better and then he ended with a very solid testimony of the Church and Jesus Christ. I love seeing people change. He is just on fire right now.
Last night we went on divisions. I went with Hermano Espiritu and Aparicio both of them are just awesome. Hermano Aparicio was so excited to come with us. He really has changed. He loves talking to all the people we visit and loves to share his feelings about the gospel and his testimony. Ah its just so awesome.
Mercedes and her two kids didn’t get baptized because she had to work yesterday so they missed church and they have to go one more time to be able to get baptized. So this Sunday we are hoping. Something that made me be filled with joy. Mercedes told us last week that we were like her salvation she said in her words like she viewed us as angels. This was touching.
In my area of Buenos Aires before I got here and one change before I got here they hadn’t baptized anybody in a year and half. A really long  time. Since I have been here we have baptized 3 and possibly 4 or 5 this next week and a half and the change before me they baptized like 4. So the people are out there you just have to be willing to work.
Kel yes, I’m getting your emails. I’m just really busy haha. I love reading your email and yes keep sending pics I look to see what is going on in your guy’s lives. Send some real pics sometimes too that would be nice.

Sorry this one is short but I gotta run.

love ya

Que Tal Familia

Coming to you live from Buenos Aires where the weather is always perfect and where you always have a perfect tan.  haha yes I do! Today was p day saweet. I mopped our whole house crazy. I know, but I like my stuff really clean. Then we went down to patria to the tiyangis they are like street markets. You can find anything in them anything you could think of. Yeah I saw a sik Mexico jersey.  I couldn’t help it. I coughed it up. It is sik. I bought it for 110 pesos too.  Dang what a deal huh.  That is like 9 bucks in America or something. I also got my hair cut today.  I have no hair and that’s the way I want it because it is dang hot in the middle of the day. I am a good looking Elder with my short hair. haha.
This week has been pretty crazy lots of teaching and I got to go on splits with ELder Toone.

Elder Miller and Elder Toone

He is a zone leader. He is awesome. He comes home in 6 weeks.  I told him to take Jacee on a date. He was all stoked and said he wanted too. So Jacee if a Toone kid tries getting a hold of you, you will know why. He is like 6’1" and has blonde hair and he is an Idaho boy. haha He is awesome and I learned a bunch from him. But picture this both of us have blonde hair and blue eyes think of how that would go down in the streets of Mexico haha. Let’s say we got a lot of whistles, smiles and some asked for our numbers. haha It was funny. Elder Toone is a solid missionary. His focus is on the people and how he can bring them unto Christ. He is a great example to me.
This week is going to be super busy we have 5 baptisms. Yeah 5 we have been working really hard and our work is paying off and we might have 3 the week after, if I am still here in Buenos Aires. This change ends at the end of this week. T am really excited for these baptisms and so are the people. The one family is the mom Mercedis and her two kids Jose and Abril. The other two are girls one is Erica and her family are members the other is Nadia her sister is a member and we are working to get their mom baptized as well. So, a lot of work. But it is all so worth it. I have seen Mercedis life transform. She is very happy and excited to get baptized.
How is everything back home?
Did cam get his call?
Dad are showing again?
Jacee you dating anyone?
Kel how is your little business going?
Brady are you going jeeping any time soon? Oh guess what sucks Brady I’m starting to forget what a good sounding diesel sounds like all the busses here sound like crap they are loud but they sound like crap.
Mom I miss your cooking and the carpet to nap on.

Can you do me a favor mom? Can you send me my little red camel back yah know the little red one that dad thinks is his. I just need a little smaller back pack when I’m tracting. If you could that would be amazing. Don’t be in a rush to do it though just wheneva is good.

How is Weston’s knee? When is he going to be taking off to Panama?

One other thing, I don’t read your email till after I email but I saw that Sis Lakip emailed you. Can you tell her how I am doing. I am doing really good and just some stuff I’ve shared with you. She was an amazing example/teacher for me and I learned so much from her. I can’t email anyone but family but tell her I’d love an email from her if she has any advice for me or wants to share anything with me, I’d love it.

Well I love you a bunch. Talk to you in a week.

Love

What’s happening Family.
Today I got to go to down town Guadalajara which isn’t in my mission but we had to go sign some papers. It was pretty sik. The city is huge and very busy I didn’t like that so much. I’m a country boy at heart. But i got to go to the huge cathedral and the big plaza in down town. It was pretty saweet. It’s like 400 years old or something so it was really like old mexico. I took a bunch of pic so I will try to print them off and send them to you. I did send you guys a letter today with pics in it. There is a letter in there for dani so if you could give it to her that would be great. oh and make sure you guys call her Danielle not Dani. Be cool to her she is a really awesome girl.
This week has been pretty dang awesome. Mercedis and Jose. She is the one that has a really rough life. They are doing awesome. She is going to be baptized on the 25th of this month and probably Jose her son and maybe her hija Abril. It has been a miracle teaching her family and to see there lives change. We are teaching all of the time. We have a new mission plan that is really getting our ward involved. They give us references of people they know and then we take them with us and visit that reference or references this is so awesome because the investigators feel more comfortable having a friend there with them. We strive to always have a member come with us to our lessons this works so good. Involving the members is huge and makes the work go a lot smoother.
Dad and Mom can you do something for me and Brady if you want. Talk to the Ward mission leader, Mike Eager, talk to him about getting the boys on splits with the missionaries. Get them going on splits like Kimball, Cade, AJ, Brayden, Tyler. This will help them greatly. I know it will. Then they will know what the mission is like and they will be better prepared. Please do this the Lord’s Warriors need to be prepared. thanks
This week has also been pretty rough I didn’t sleep for like 48 hours straight. I had a fever, and my stomach pains are back. ahh It’s so annoying. This is only a minor set back I just keep working and somehow I have energy. I bought a jump rope today so I can get into even better shape. I am doing like 200 pushups every morning and situps and now the jump rope. You can do better work when you are in shape.
Jacee What!!! i just glanced to see if you sent pics cause i print all the emails off and read them at my house. But dang your truck is the B word the Kraig always says and that I can’t say. Oh you did such a good job I love it. Your truck is sik of the chain. I bet you love it. You even got the off road addition that’s the kind I’m gonna get. Your truck is dope. I’m glad you got it and sold the FJ.I bet you are too. So mom when are you trading in the saab and getting yourself a gunsmoke tacoma?
Pops and mom i skimmed your letter sounds like you loved the islands. That is awesome, I can tell you right now that you will love it down here and I will be your personal guide, when you come to get me. It’s pretty saweet down here. I’m glad you had a good time. You always need some fun in your lives. Mom i have been eating some dang good mexican food we eat with a member everyday. I eat like pasoli, tacos, tortas, burritos, enchiladas, and all sorts of stuff and the aguas they make out of fruit they are so good.
Sounds like everyone is doing good. I’m glad keep up the good work and always be looking for those little opportunities to help someone out.
Thanks for getting those shoes. I was talking to another elder who has a step counter, he is averaging 10 miles of walking a day so yeah that tells you how much we walk. Couple favors please. My golds gym pass, I don,t know why i was thinking about this, but can you call them and have them freeze my pass and so that was I don’t have to get a new one when I get back.  I can just unfreeze it and still have like 2 years left on it. Can you go get me some ties like 5 and send them to me I need a few more. Can find me some sweet ones I know all of you have good taste. Look for really bright colorful ties like paisleys and just really cool bright colors. This would be so awesome. Thanks a bunch for everything that you guys do.
fun fact about my life. I get about 150 dollars a month to live off of haha funny huh.
Love you more than all of the perfect weather i have had here in Guadalajara.

What’s up family!! It’s another beautiful day in Guadalajara. Every single day i have been here it has been perfect!! Saweet right. Yea for sure. I’ve already tanned up very nicely. I even have a better tan than my comp. haha. ah  What to tell you guys. Everyday is so jam packed. First off how about conference!! Wasn’t it amazing!! Like truly!! We were so blessed to have a conference like that and be so spiritually fed. My favorite talk was the one given by President Uchtdorf in the priesthood session. His talk was on patience. Oh how I loved this talk. "patience is working actively towards worth while goals and not getting discouraged" This talk was so good you all should read it. This is the first time I have watched all 5 sessions of conference haha I have proof to. 11 pages of proof. Conference was so good.
We have been teaching a bunch. Like 40 or so lessons this week. We have 13 new investigators as of this week. So we are always just running around going to appointments haha. It’s busy busy. We taught a lady on saturday night she was a reference. Right before we taught her like earlier in the day she was thinking of taking her own life. Her story is pretty sad and tough. She told us that her parents have never given her a hug or told her that they loved her and she is like 30. Her story is just sad. We taught her for a while and we were able to give her hope. I bore my testimony to her about the gospel and how it is a gospel of happiness. It was amazing because it was just like the words were flowing out of my mouth. The spirit was so strong.
The other day we ran into a guy who had been drinking a bit. He told us he wanted to change. So we taught him a bit and then my companion asked for all of his beer. He had one big huge can. My comp took it and poured it out. Just like that. I was like wow. We met with him a few days later and he hasn’t drank since. So hopefully he can keep on progressing.
My spanish is not good. I’ll tell ya that right now. I am learning but not as fast as I want. I just want to be able to say what I want. But I know with consistant work it will come. It’s just a little frustrating because I have no clue what the people are saying to me.  It’s all good I just have to keep moving forward.
Mom I need a huge favor from you. When you can, can you get me another pair of shoes? I need them because I have to keep one pair nice for church and I don’t want to wear the same shoes everyday because my feet need a change. If you could that would be awesome. My shoes will definately be well used, we walk so much. When you send stuff down here always send it to the mission office not to my address. All the mail needs to go to the office. When you send stuff put pictures of the virgin mary all over the package or on the letter. This helps.
The people are very loving and love me. A little to much sometimes haha Two night ago two girls asked me if I would go home with them. yeah pretty crazy. I just kept walking.
Everything here is great!! Really good. good food. good people. Good weather.
Dad is going on vacation what? so now you start going after I leave haha. No you guys will have fun. Dad needs a tan anyway haha
Jacee where are the pics of your truck? I am dying to see it. Down here everything is pretty americanized. Lots of american cars I have seen a handful of new powerstrokes. Every vehicle down her is straight piped it’s pretty funny. Tell cam that any of the busses down here are way louder than his dodge haha Did he get his call yet?
Hope life is good up in the states.
I’m gonna keep on working.
It’s crazy we work all day long and then we get home and as soon as I hit the pillow I am out. We wake up at 7 and go to bed at 11. The people of Mexico are night people so we get to stay out later.
But yeah I love you guys a bunch. Thanks for all your prayers. I look forward to talking to next week.
love you a bunch

hello family

hello family

I don’t have much time. I am super busy. Mexico it really great. I already have a sweet tan. yeah I’m so stoked to be dark. My spanish is rough. I have no idea what anyone is saying but it’s all good. I live in a little house outside of Guadalajara. It’s called Buenos Aris or something. My area is up on a hill. It’s sweet. Um they cut our water off and stuff so we have to take bucket showers. We get a bucket of water and put our iron in it to heat up the water. Fun stuff right. haha mexican style. Church was great. I love all the members. They are nice and they are helping me with me spanish. I had to get up in church yesterday and talk about myself and bear my testimony in front of the ward. It was good.
We are teaching a bunch not me so much but I’m trying. So this is way cool. Saturday night I got my first baptism. It was a little girl named Sarai. It was so awesome and wonderful. She had the biggest smile! So yeah I’m stoked for my mission.
We went to the zoo today. It was pretty sik off the chain. We walk a ton!!! I’m not joking. We walk everywhere. Oh and we ride buses. Now that is crazy!! They are always jam packed and the drivers drive like there is no tomorrow. It’s crazy down here. I’m excited to learn the language and actually be able to carry on a conversation. sweet sweet.
I have been going on splits with one of the zone leaders. pretty sik. I went way out in the country with him to do some interviews. This part of Mexico (my mission) is dope!!

love ya tonz
Like to talk more but there is work to be done.

I got 5 more minutes.  Um it’s pretty dang hot here in the day time. So we just walk to different peoples houses and when we are there we just ask for a drink and they always give us one. They are very giving. WOW!! Have I had some good food!! Yes I have. Somebody feeds us every single day. Everyday it has been good. Tacos, soup, fish, rice ah I love it. And yes I have gotten in the rocky mountain quick step haha, but that is just a part of the experience. My comp is elder Kuhn. He is a district leader he is a really good elder and loves the work.

love ya bye
