Bishop from Apatzingan, Elder Miller and Mayco |
First, Mayco one of my converts got his mission call last week. He will be serving a mission in the Mexico, Oaxaca Mission. What a miracle. He was baptized a little less than a year ago and look at the growth that he has had. Wow I never even thought that while I was here in my mission one of my converts would leave to go serve the Lord as a full time missionary!!! I feel so grateful and blessed.
2. Brenda one of my converts here in Uruapan, she is 19, received a calling yesterday in church! I can't even express to you how happy she was!!! She came running down the stairs with a huge smile on her face and ran and told Lulu in Relief Society. The teacher had to tell them to be quiet. She is so excited!!! She will be teaching in the primary!! She also talked with the bishop about serving a mission!!! wow!!!
3. Lulu has made huge improvements this last week. She loves everything about the church!!!! She is going to be baptized this week!!! My joy is so full for Lulu. I am so excited for her to take this decision in her life. I know that I was supposed to meet Lulu and she was prepared before this life!!
4. In church we usually have like 70 in attendance and yesterday we had a 143!!!!! wow!!!! We had an investigator in church named Rosa. She is 68 and she is so cute. Rosa is always happy and smiling. Today was her first time in church. (she is catholic) After church I asked how she liked church and she told me that she loved it. In her chuch she told me that she feels lonely but here she feels so good, everyone talks to her and she feels like she is at home. She told me that she will be in church the next sunday for sure!! I love this little old lady. I am so happy for her.
This week my bishop was super sick. He asked me to give him a blessing. I told him I would be honored to. He could barely walk and he looked like death. I layed my hands on his head and gave him a priesthood blessing. I felt the spirit flowing through me and I knew that my bishop was going to be all right. Four hours later we were at the church for ward council and the bishop showed up with big smile on his face. He told me thanks and that he felt good.
I love this work. I love what I'm doing. I know that God lives and that miracles exist!!
I love all of you!!!
