a week of miracles

Hola famila!!!!!!!!!!

Wow this week was amazing!

I have a lot of good news.

But I don't have a lot of time because I have to go catch a bus. I'm going to be a ranch hand again out in Michoacan.
Jesus and Delia were able to be married.

Delia and Jesus got married and in the same day Delia and Lucero got baptized. Truly was a miracle.  I want to tell all the details but I will later  because our week was crazy and we really saw the hand of the Lord helping us all along the way.  I'm stoked for them they are an amazing familia and I love them dearly. They are going to be sealed in a year and they want us to come back down and go through the temple with them.
Elder Wallace, Delia, Lucero, Elder Miller.

Church was amazing!!!!! Delia and Lucero received the gift of the Spirit. We had 11 investigators in sacrament. It was crazy and all of the people who gave talks were recent converts. Yup, Crisa gave a talk and it was amazing. She has been a member for like 2 or 3 weeks and you would had have thought she was a member for a lot of years. She talked about service and the example of Christ!! I loved it and the spirit was so strong in this meeting. In primary, I gave all the little kids CTR rings. They loved them. Oh man, I just loved being in the Gardens, every minute of it. I just loved it. All my investigators, comps and members everything. I just loved it.
Delia and Lucero were baptized.

Elder Wallace left too. What happened is Elder Wallace and I were doing some saweet work in our area. The zone leader's area was struggling a little bit so they took one of the assistants to the pres out and made him a zone leader to end his mission. He is my really good bud but he told pres he wanted to come to the Gardens. So he will be taking over my area now.

So you know my Christmas card, with the little Hermano. That's my new area!!!! Yup I really wanted to go serve in Uruapon because I loved it there. Now I am able to serve in that same area that I have worked in so many times. I'm stoked. Ya know what else, Elder Parry is coming too. We will still be in the same zone. He is opening an area right by Apatzingan like 40 mins away. It was in my area when I was there and I did work there a couple times too. It is called Nueva Italia. I'm so stoked that I am still with him. I love him. Did you know he is from Alpine. He knows Weston my cousin.

Oh and I got a special assignment from president. I have to go to the offices in like an hour. I am going to pick up 3 brand new missionaries and I have to escort them to Uruapon. haha fun fun right ha ha. I love the mission life-----it's just crazy.

Well I love you all so much more than all of the traveling I will do today!!!!!

City life

Eh Que pacho mi familia!!!!!!

This week was a little hectic but it was a good one, man o man was it good!!!

Elder Miller, Hose, Delia, Jesus, Elder Wallace, Lucero, Julian.
Remember Jesus and Delia? Well they are the family with the little boy with the cowboy boots. My favorite family ever!!! Well the birth certificate of Jesus finally came this week and we were so stoked!!!! Because they could get married!! Delia and Lucero will be able to get baptized now!!!!!!!!! Yes I have so much joy in my heart!!!!!!!!! They have been waiting for a long time and now it is finally here! This week we will be working our tails off to get them married so that they can be baptized this Saturday at the zone baptism!!! It’s going to be crazy. I know if we work as hard as we can and put our trust in the Lord, everything will work out in the way he wants it to work out!!! Man I'm stoked!!!

Funny story, so on Tuesday we were at Delia and Jesus' giving a lesson and we were outside sitting on buckets. Well they have two rabbits that are dang cute and Jose was carrying one and it started sucking his finger. He was just a laughing and it reminded me of me when I was a little kid like Jose. So later, I was holding the rabbit in my lap and it was just chillen.  Lucero was saying the prayer. I was just sitting there enjoying the spirit of the prayer when my leg started to get all hot. I was just like what is going on and then I remembered, that dang rabbit. I realized that he was peeing all over me. In the moment when I realized this, I just chucked the rabbit up in the air and I fell off my bucket. But gracefully and I didn't interrupt the prayer. When the prayer was over everyone knew what happened and all of us were sharing a great big ole laugh. I'm just glad I was wearing black pants. haha

We have these two investigators named Maria and Hortencia! Maria is like 60 and Hortencia has like 40. Maria is the mom and Hortencia is the daughter. They are pretty funny. They are going to get baptized in April. Two weeks ago we had some difficulties with them. We showed up and they said they didn't want anything to do with us. They didn't believe in the BOM, or Joseph Smith or the church. It was really weird because they were progressing so well. The lesson was pretty interesting and they were not willing to listen. I didn't know what to do because we had done everything. We were having an activity that week so I just ask them to do one thing. I told them about the activity and they promised me they would come. At the activity we watched the Joseph Smith movie. The spirit was so strong and they really enjoyed it but left quickly. Three days later we went and visited them, which was this week. When we got there, they were just pure smiles!!! They just spilled everything.  All their doubts had been solved and they knew that all of what we were teaching was true. By themselves they got rid of all their crosses and idols. Maria the mom stopped smoking and Hortencia is making great progress in kicking her smoking habit. The Lord works miracles so that his children can follow in His footsteps. This experience was amazing!!

Gracias por la comida.
Well, I need to go do some saweet work! This week is the last week of the change. I feel like I'm going to get changed. I don't want to because I love the Gardens but if the Lord needs me in a different area,  I will go with a willing and joyful heart!!

Life in the Garden

Hey Familia que onda
I love being a MISSIONARY!!!!!

We had another great week here in the gardens.  We are just diggin it up and enjoying ourselves Elder Wallace y yo. It was pretty hot this week and I get burned and especially today. We went and played soccer on an astro turf field.  It was amazing!!!!! We had a blast!!!! I love soccer!!! We played with another zone. One of the elders that was there named Elder Rodriguez. He is from West Valley he is cool. He is going to end his mission in two weeks.  He is going to go play some football at BYU. He has a full ride. So, look for him this season. Yup, but soccer was sik.

We did some saweet work this week!!! We knocked this one street like a half a block.  It was golden and I mean golden. We have 12 return appointments. Yeah it was awesome and some of them are already new investigators. Pepe lived in Texas for pretty much his whole life. He got involved in a little trouble so he came down here. We are teaching him and we get to teach in English because he likes English better.  But man o man it is so hard to teach in English.  I really have to put my trust in the Lord when I am teaching because it's hard but I am richly blessed with the help of the Lord. Pepe has had a bit of a ruff life.  3 of his kids are coming down to live with him. He really just wants to give them the best example he can. We are super stoked to be teaching him. He is a stud.

I eat amazing food!!!
Well I don't have much time. I'm just slammed with work but it's a beautiful work and it's the work of the Lord!! I am happy. I have joy.

Life in the Garden II

hey hey!!!!!

Have I told all of you guys that life in the Garden is just wicked saweet!! My area is called Jardines which means "the Gardens" yup and I love it!! Life is a Garden so Dig it!!!

Wow we had an awesome week this week and I have a lot to tell all of you!!!

First, yesterday I had a funny thing that happened to me! We were eating in this park because the Hermana gave us the food to go, so we went to this park to eat. About the time we were finishing my nose starts to bleed. I was just like great. We didn't have napkins or anything and it started to bleed pretty bad. I was just sitting there bleeding. I had a tortilla in my hand and I thought hmmm, well, why not. haha I rolled up part of my tortilla and stuck it up my nose!!! It was pretty saweet and it was a really good clogger and it stopped the bleeding. Then my compa ran over to some house and they gave us some tp so I could wipe my face all nice and clean. It was interesting.

Yesterday in sacrament I was just enjoying myself and enjoying feeling of the spirit. A girl in my ward started talking about that little black spec that's on top of chicken poop. She got my attention because it reminded me of all of you guys.  (Dad’s favorite show—PURE COUNTRY) What she said was really great. She was talking about many times we just focus on that little black spec and on all of the bad things that happen to us in our lives.  She also talked about how we shouldn't do this because we have so much to be grateful for. There is a lot of white space or positive things in this life and we need to look for these things and be sincerely grateful a nuestro Padre Celestial. It is so true!! We are so blessed in our lives and we need to focus in on the good and positive things of this life! Always look at the glass half full.

Elder Miller, Crisa, Elder Wallace.

Hermana Crisa got baptized!!!!!!!!!!! It was amazing and she was so happy and filled with joy!!! I was so happy for her!! She is a cute little mom and now she will be able to give little Alex everything he needs to be a future missionary. Now her and her son have the Gospel in their lives. It's amazing!! I will send pics next week.

Elder Miller and Elder Selee on a ranch outside of
Guadalajara.
I went on divisions this week with the zone leaders. I went and worked in their area with Elder Selee! He is bomb and it is pretty scary how alike we are. He is from Washington and he is a country boy. He reminds me exactly of Brady and of the guy on Footloose. He is funny. We had a great time and we did some saweet work out in his area. He will be one of my buds after the mission too.  He wants to room with me at BYU but we will see. He is going to be an Army Ranger! It's cool but he also likes the outdoors and rodeos and workin out on the farm. We get along great and I learned a lot from him in this day that we had together.  He is not boastful but he is a guy that won't take any crap from anyone. He tells it how it really is just like the spirit (Jacob 4:13).
I really like that about him. So yah it was sweet
with good ole Elder Selee.

Elder Selee and Elder Miller.

Mom, I love you!!! Oh mom guess what? Every week I go into the primary for the 3rd hour and I love it! I love all the kids and we sing and laugh, oh and we share a message with them every week!! I just love it and I love these little kids they bring such great joy into my life.

Well, I love all of you more than all the people I talk to everyday!!!
