Read Nephi 4:6

here is a scripture for all of you guys.  nephi 4:6 read it. i love this scripture as well as many others.
Dusty is so awesome. He is such a good example to me and to everyone who is around him. that was probably was really tough on the family but through this gospel and the plan of happiness they will be able to see her again.
i wrote cam. if you talk to him just let him know that i can only write tuesdays and thursdays. but i sent him a letter on tuesday so he should have gotten it or he should get it soon. hope he is doin good. It’s weird not seeing him every single day. he is like a brother.
last night we had a wall push up contest. gotta do something to keep me in shape. it was fun. yeah your missionary has the title for the most wall push ups. That’s wats up.
the language is starting to come a little better. we are learning about preterite and imperfect tense. so many things you have to memorize. but when i get it down it will be chido(cool). this language actually makes sense unlike the english language. i can pray and contact and testify a little bit. so its fun.
brady and kel thanks for all the mail that you send me. i love to hear from you guys and what’s going on in your lives. Mail is golden around here. you both are super good examples. brady as my brother i wanna be just like you. so many of your attributes are amazing. you will help anybody in anyway that you can even if you are super busy. that is such an important thing in this gospel, love. you gotta learn to love. yes kel i am getting all your wonderful letters and i really enjoy them so you can stop worrying.
food. well last night i had a huge chicken sandwich, and 2 servings of navajo toacos (which were huge), i wanted to go back and get another but my district wouldn’t wait for me and i had some cake and cookies. breakfast today i had biscuts and gravy and hashbrowns, bacon, eggs and hard boiled eggs. oh man if i don’t eat this much i get a headache in class cause my body uses all that food cause I’m using so much energy trying to learn haha
mom i gotta lotta great stuff i want to share with you but i don’t have my journal with me right now so i will just write you a letter with a bunch of great stuff I’m learning about.
can you believe its been 2 weeks? cool huh. the weeks go by super fast.
Thanks for all of the stuff you send. it is really great. i appreciate it so much. mom you are truly  a special lady. You are like none other. All of the missionaries in my district want to meet you they just think you are awesome. so do i. You are always looking for some way that you can serve someone. Doesn’t matter what you have goin. its so great. That’s a true Christ like attribute. love you mom

love you guys more than all of the missionaries i see everyday

What's up family

What’s up family. I’m writing you guys cause are zone is way lucky and gets to email twice a week. we are the only ones in the whole mtc that gets to. it cause we do our service on our p day so the give us and hour and a half of personal time since some of our p day gets shortened. It’s pretty sweet.

so i have a half hour to email each time not to long but the computer times me so if you could while I’m in the mtc if you guys could write me through dear elder instead of email that would be sweet cause to read your guys' letters takes time off the clock which gives me less time to write you. and i know you are wanting to hear from me.

thanks for all of the letters and packages they are so very awesome. all of the my mission buddies in my zone love you. some of them are going to write you. i passed out the water guns last night everyone had some fun with those. so our dorms are pretty lagit. there are so many cool elders and we all hang out at night after class gets over. only for a little bit though. we get out of class at 9:30 and we have to be in our rooms at 10:15 and in bed/lights out at 10:30. fun fun. its snowing right now. gotta love those big fluffy utah snow flakes.

mom there is a elder in my district that is just a great person. really kind and thoughful towards everyone. his name is elder Reynolds. i have just been a little worried about him. he hasn’t gotten any mail since we got here from anyone. and i can tell that it is making him a little down and sad. i wrote him a letter. he will be receiving it today. i put a stamp on it and everything so it looks like a letter. so i was wondering if you could send him a package. he really could use it. i want him to be the elder he is cause he is awesome and his spirit is strong. if you could it would really mean a lot to me mom and I’m sure it would give him a big boost. His name is Elder Reynolds and our box is 259. Thanks

i need just a few things if that’s alright. i just need some t shirts. like 3 or something. like my day dream and exotic one. my bandits one and that DNA shirt that is like a athletic shirt it is like grey with orange piping. thanks.

Jacee wat up girl. so i here you been doin a little golfing on the docks. That’s sweet. i loved doing that it was so much fun. always cold haha but if you gotta a date it isn’t so bad right. you will have to tell me more about him. sounds like you had fun.

kel and brady wats crack'n
hope all is well. school and work. im glad im not in your shoes right now cause i am just having way to much fun in here. It’s alot better than school or work. you guys should have some good snow this weekend with these storms. all i get to do is look at it out the window all day while im studying. i daydream sometimes haha only for like a second because im trying to absorb everything. It’s like trying to get a drink with a fire hose. you get soaked but you barely get anything in your mouth. It’s awesome so much to learn you just gotta buckle down and be diligent.

pops bet its warmer here than back east. just drink some herbal tea that should make ya warm. i know you are doin great cause you always day. remember to stick your chest out. posture tells a lot about a person.

tell everyone hi and that I’m doing great

love you more than all the mtc food i have eaten (i assure that its alot!)

Que Pasa?

Hola familia. Que pasa. Hope everything is good and all is well. It hasn’t been snowing too much since i left. You better start praying for snow! I’m starting to get settled in here in my home away from home. My district and zone are awesome! We have a lot of fun but we are working really hard. We have two teachers Sister Lakip and Brother Dela Cruz. I have been learning a lot from them both they are awesome teachers and they are really stretching our limits we have to work super hard to keep up. but working is good for us it keeps us at our best. Elder Saguibo and are really starting to click with each other. He is my companion. I’d tell you about him but i just sent a letter to you guys and that has more details. today is my first p day. it feels good to have some personal time to write and to laundry. thanks for the packages i really did appreciate them. my district loved them. Elder Fletcher said he wants to write you a letter and tell how good they were. The language is coming sorta its pretty tough but i will get it down you can count on that. we taught our first lesson yesterday it went really well. the spirit was strong.  gym time is also very nice. i run a mile every gym period and then i go tear it up in 4 square it gets pretty intense. my new nick name is "slick" i got from some new elders i met its cause i tear it up. but those elders are 18 right now cause they have scholarships to play football. they are cool. but my time is running out. i love you guys more than all the missionaries that are at the mtc.

Elder Miller

oh can you send me a few things. Thanks
can you send me one of my black brahma hats, my nike sweats and my blue nike sweater. id love that.

And if i send you a letter with a girls name on the bottom left corner will you please give it to that girl. a bunch of girls wanted my address before i left but i didn’t have it so if you could give it to a few of them that would be awesome. danille, ashley ault, savanah, Mccall, Aly miller, lizzy burns.

The Beginning!

We dropped Jake/Elder Miller off at the MTC today! Wow!!! A lot of mixed emotions! I can't believe he is gone! I really can't believe he is old enough! I won't lie it was extremely hard saying goodbye, but it was easy to let him go! I know he is doing the right thing! I know that he is ready! I know it is where he should be! I know he will be a great instrument in the Lord's hands and he will share the message of this great gospel that I love. I know that our family can be together forever! I want others to know and have that great blessing! This is why I am willing and sooooo grateful that Jake would make this choice to serve! These past few months and especially the past few weeks/days have been crazy! Many thoughts have run through my head! Sad, Happy, Sad, Excited, Nervous, Stressed, Humbled, Awed, and most of all Proud! I am so proud of Jake! He is just amazing! He is such a great example to me! Brady was talking the other night saying how much he loved his mission and how he wishes he could go along with Jake! I feel the same way! He is going to experience so many different things. It has really made me think about what I can do to get the best experience of having Jake away serving the people of Guadalajara! We are really going to try and focus on being missionaries here at home. Every member a missionary! We decided to focus on this about a week ago and last sunday we had our first missionary experience! It really strengthened my testimony and confirmed to me that Jake serving this mission was what the Lord wants. It also gave me peace! Peace not to worry and to just trust in the Lord in all things! I can't wait to hear about Jake's mission and see him grow! I love this gospel and I know that it is true! I am thankful for it! I am thankful for my Savior and his sacrifice for all of us! I know the Lord loves and is aware of us and he knows each one of us personally. He knows our trials and concerns and he watches out for us. I have found many times it is through others! I am so thankful for those people! I find strength in knowing that I can pray during good and hard times and feel comfort, support, direction, and most of all his love for me! I know that missionary work is important! I hope that I can be like the great example I have for a Brother!
